The Ganahoma.started with a prayer at mutt temple from 9.30.a.m.by Purohit vishnumurthy saralaya. Balagha was represented by Yuva Vibhaga convenor Krishna Prasad and his wife nivedita.The poornahuti took place at 11.30 a.m

At 12.noon puthige Swamy Sri Sri sugunendra thirtha sripada was welcomed to the function hall,it was followed by Swami’s padapooje and ashirvachana to members.

Mahamangalarthi to lord Ganesha was held at 12.45 by Purohit saralaya.

The highlights of the programme were.

1) The brightly lit,.beautifully decorated with shawls and flowers Ganesha Idol.

2) The Rangoli drawn by members with lot of devotion and display of Ganesha Paintings.

3) Chende vadana during the Ganeshotsava celebration.

4).Devaranama by mahila Vibhaga members.

5) Vishnusahasrnama recital by members.

6) Prasada distribution and food serving to members.

7) Recital of churnika during lunch

8) The energetic and artistic dance by children and Balagha members during Ganesha idol procession culiminating in Ganesha visarjane.

The function was well attended and about 550 members participated.

The function was conducted in religious spirit,devotional fervour and the ever willing volunteering support of able bodied Balaga members.
