Any person above the age of 18 and belonging to the district of Dakshina Kannada Karnataka state may become a member but only on an invitation by another member. Such inviting member shall make an application to the Executive Committee in the prescribed form proposing invitee to the membership of Balaga.

The Executive Committee shall then communicate the acceptance of membership to the invited member upon acceptance of the application in its committee meeting. However, the Executive Committee has the right to reject the application without assigning any reasons.

The membership is for life and not transferable. The application form for membership shall be introduced and signed by another existing member. Persons residing overseas may also apply if their membership is duly proposed by any continuing member.

Procedure for enrolling as a member of Ananda Balaga

• Proposer should fill up the Proposal Form available in the Ananda Balaga Website or can be had from any of the Executive Committee Members and put up to the Membership Development and Administrative Committee (MDAC).
• MDAC will scrutinize the form and clear it, if it is in order as per the requirement and inform the Proposer to get the Application form filled up by the Candidate and submit it to the Secretary with necessary fees.
• This application form will be submitted to the Executive Committee (EC) during its Meeting and EC will approve the membership, if it feels that it is in order in all respects.
• Secretary will process the application form and send the receipt to the Applicant.
• The Applicant is expected to appear before the EC within the three meetings of the EC
• The EC meets on second Saturday of every month at the premises of Ajantha Hotel at M. G. Road.

1. Maha danee membership : Rs. 2510/-
2. Poshaka Membership : Rs. 5010/-
3. Maha Poshaka Membership : Rs. 10010/-

Please note that rules and regulations contained in the byelaw of Ananda Balaga shall be applicable and binding upon all categories of members.

Members Directory:

In the year 2000, Ananda Balaga published its first Directory containing names, addresses, telephone numbers, and blood group details of members. This exhaustive Directory was published with the active assistance of Yuva Vibhaga and was distributed free to the members. In the silver Jubilee year 2012-13, Ananda Balaga published its second updated directory free for its members.
