Ananda Balaga Mahila Vibhaga started matrimony services on 14th November 1999.

Matrimony services were planned for the benefit of Dakshina Kannada Brahmins.

Matrimonial service is held on every Saturday afternoon from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm at Hotel Woodlands, Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road, Bengaluru except if the day falls on Krishna Janmashtami.

More than 20,000 profiles of bride and groom together are registered up to April 2020. The registration fee is Rs 300 and is valid for 2 years only.

If the bride or groom wants their profile to be removed within the expiry of two years, they can contact any committee member of Mahila Vibhaga.

Mahila Vibhaga also conducts Music classes every Saturday from 3pm to 4.30pm for those who are interested in music.

Mahila Vibhaga conducts two programs in a year:

1. Satyanarayana pooja on Makara Sankranti and

2. Sharadha puja during Navaratri.

All these programs are conducted in Woodlands Hotel from its inception and we the members of the Balaga are eternally thankful for their generosity.

In the past few years Mahila Vibhaga has taken up the initiative to plan a Week long Trip to a place within India. The Vibhaga publishes the details in Bruguvani for the interested members to reach out.
