I am very proud that we presented a fabolous Ananda Milana 2020 on 12/01/2020 and would like to share my experience.
The function Ahara mela was inaugurated by Balaga president Smt Geetha Vasudeva Rao at 4.15 pm.
The Food counters had kadubu,pathrode,semige,chats. Uppukari avalakki, Cofee, tea, fruits, and many more.
My daughter Pooja had kept a stall of cake and her new invention cake laddu.
Stage function started at 5 pm with A namasmarane of Pejawara Swamiji by Haridasa upadyaya , Followed by inaugural bavageethe and then Balaga president Smt Geetha Vasudeva Rao addressed the members.
Mr Krishna prasad , convenor Yuva vibaga in his address narrated the facts and explained how Yuva Vibaga has been in the forefront helping members in their overall development through its various activities. Krishna prasad insisted every member should take up a goal for 2020 and realise it by year end.
The entertainment programme started with a excellent fashion show by 19 children, this will be remembered for long in our memories.
Then it was the powerful dance show by our 4 boys, Micheal Jackson’s moon walk dance , and more was enacted to the shouts from the audience.
The Balaga men dance of 4 members followed and again a superb breathtaking performance .
The Men’s fashion show was in par with any international fashion event. The dress sense ,gait and style of the 15 participating men was greatly appreciated.
Then came the women dancers , the chugada dance , Milana 2020 dance and girls of Balaga.
All these 3 dances were a treat to the eyes. There were 22 dancers in these 3 dances.
The Apsara Ali finale dance was a befitting treat by these beauties of Balaga. The floor was reverberating with whistles and shouts of joy from the audience.
The mime show took us back by 5000 years and gave us an idea how our forefathers would have communicated when there was no writing and languages, again a excellent performance by 7 men and women of Balaga.
There were games for all intermittently with fun and skill organised by our members.
and then a game of Housie which was played by most members present, enthralled the audience.
The dance to a meaningful song by senior comitee members was very emotional.
The programme finale was the pilivesha. It was a breathtaking view, the stage full with members in pili mask, and audience including large no of children, lifting their legs to the beats of pili. It was a treat for nearly 30 minutes.
The anchoring was done by me and Sashidhar Hebbar, the stage was well managed with no dull moment. Sashidhar enthralled the audience with mimicry and intelligent questions.
The programme was well attended by about 500 members and their family.I bet every member enjoyed to the hilt .
This is by Faroe of the best entertainment programme seen by me nationally and internationally, it was live,energetic and innovative.
I am amazed at the commitment put by the performers, the talent displayed , but this perfection came with a unhindered non compromising strict practise sessions participated by all for last 2 months. Kudos to the spirit of the performers.
A special mention of thanks to Veena Sharath for the involvement from by conceptualisation to complete implementation of programme.
Excellent imagination, choreography and commitment by individual event coordinated was commendable.
Active support from large no of Balaga members made this programme a enjoyable group work.
Finally a strong team of my Yuva Committee comprising
Gopalakrishna, Madhavi Ballal, Dinesh Rao,Prakash Bhat and Rajesh was a big support.
The programme ended at 8.30 pm with a vote of thanks and a message we will come back with Milana 2021.

ಆನಂದ ಮಿಲನ – ಇದೊಂದು ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರ ಸ್ನೇಹ ಸಮ್ಮಿಲನ
ಆನಂದ ಬಳಗ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ “ಆನಂದ ಮಿಲನ” ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಕೃಷ್ಣಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಅವರ ಯುವ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಂಚಾಲತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಅದ್ದೂರಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.
ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ನಡುವಿನ ಸುಮಧುರ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳಿಗೆ ಇರುವ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಘಟ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇತರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆರೆತಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನ ಶೈಲಿ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಯಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಹಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಇಂತಹ ಸ್ನೇಹ ಬೆಸೆಯುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸುವುದು ಅತೀ ಮುಖ್ಯ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಆನಂದ ಮಿಲನ’ ಆನಂದ ಬಳಗದ ಬಹಳ ಅಚ್ಚು ಕಟ್ಟಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಎನ್ನುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂದೇಹವಿಲ್ಲ.
ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಬಳಗದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಸ್ವ ಇಚ್ಚೆಯಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲುಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಸಭಿಕರನ್ನು ಮನರಂಜಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾದರು.
ಇಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಂಘವು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತರಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಭಿಮಾನವು ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
ಆಹಾರ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರಾವಳಿಯ ವಿವಿಧ ಬಗೆಯ ತಿನಿಸುಗಳು ಜನರ ನಾಲಗೆಯ ರುಚಿಗೆ ಮಾರುಹೋದವು. ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ನಗೆಯ ಮಂದಹಾಸವು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
ಕರಾವಳಿಯ ಪತ್ರೊಡೆ…ಮೂಡೆ … ಗೋಳಿಬಜೆ… ಸೇಮಿಗೆ ..ಹಾಲಬಾಯಿ .. ಇವೆಲ್ಲ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಪ್ಪರಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರು ಪೇಜಾವರ ಶ್ರೀಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಧ್ಯೇಯ, ಉದ್ದೇಶ, ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ, ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ & ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸುಂದರ ವರ್ಣನೆಯನ್ನು ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು . ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾಗಿ ಬಳಗದ ಧ್ಯೇಯೋದ್ದೇಶ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಯುವ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಂಚಾಲಕ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಗದ ಕಾರ್ಯ ವೈಖರಿಯನ್ನು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ವರ್ಣಿಸಿದರು.
ನಂತರ ನಡೆದ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಫ್ಯಾಷನ್ ಶೋ, ಪುರುಷರ ಫ್ಯಾಷನ್ ಶೋ, ವಿವಿಧ ನೃತ್ಯಗಳು, ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯ ಆಟೋಟ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ, ಮೈಮ್ ಶೋ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ.. ಜನರನ್ನು ಮನರಂಜಿಸಿತು.
ಸುಂದರ ನಿರೂಪಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೊನೆಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಹುಲಿ ನೃತ್ಯ ವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಮನರಂಜಿಸಿತು.
ಅಜಂತಾ ಹೋಟೆಲಿನ ರೋಹಿಣಿ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿಕ್ಕಿರಿದ ಬಳಗದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಆನಂದಮಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯು ಆನಂದ ಮಿಲನದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದುದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮನಸೂರೆಗೊಂಡಿತು.
ಸುಸಜ್ಜಿತವಾದ ವೇದಿಕೆ, ಲೈಟಿಂಗ್, ಸೌಂಡ್ ಸಿಸ್ಟಮ್.. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮೆರುಗನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಯಿತು.
ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರ ನಡೆದಾಗ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದ ಬಳಗದ ಹೊಸ ವರ್ಷದ ಕ್ಯಾಲೆಂಡರ್ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ ಒಂದು ಸುಂದರ ಆಯೋಜಿತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ.
